Bioware is looking to recruit a large number of beta testers for the closed beta of their much anticipated MMORPG, The Old Republic, at the official site.
Fans of the Knights of the Old Republic games have been loudly decrying Bioware’s production of The Old Republic, a MMORPG instead of an action RPG similar to the KotOR games. Bioware has repeatedly replied that The Old Republic will be larger in scope and story than ten KotOR games.

Sony announced today at TGS 2009 that owners of the PSP who upgrade to the PSP Go will not be able to download a copy of any games they own, despite previous claims to the contrary. Since the PSP Go does not have a UMD drive, previously purchased games will be rendered useless when you upgrade from a PSP to a PSP Go. It also means that anyone who purchased a PSP game in anticipation of getting a PSP will be unable to use those games if they get a PSP Go instead.

Nearly 3 years after it was released, the Nintendo Wii is finally getting a price cut. On September 27th, you will be able to buy the Wii for just $199. This makes the Wii the cheapest video game console on the market again, at the same price as the cheapest Xbox 360 model. This price drop is most likely the result of a number of factors: the recent price drops of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3; the upcoming release of Sony’s motion controller in the spring; and most importantly, the massive drop in Wii sales throughout this year.

It's another crazy Monday around here and after being stuck at home for nearly 5 days with a sick family, I'm ready to have some fun. First on the list for today is to giveaway a copy of Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days for the PSP. All you have to do is post and tell me why you deserve it and I'll pick someone to get my copy of the game.
Simple enough?

I love giving stuff away. Sure, I love to play through all of these games myself, but I don't always have time for that so I might as well do something useful with those extra games and get them in YOUR hands. Up for grabs this time? Metroid Prime Trilogy.
The rules are simple. Be 18 and live in the US or Canada. To enter, make a post in this thread and tell me if you agree with Vy's assessment of MPT. We'll pick a winner next week. Ready, Set, GO!!!!

God of War I and II are being re-released on a single Blu-ray Disc this holiday season. The already visually-visceral games are getting the 720p rework, and are including brand new Trophy support through the PlayStation Network. With a price tag of $39.99, this may be hard to pass up for those die-hard fans who are looking to relive Kratos’ adventures before the March 2010 release of God of War III.
