Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath Ships to Retail
EA announced today that the expansion pack to last year's award-winning RTS title, Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars, Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath has shipped to retail.
Kane's Wrath introduces a new campaign spanning two decades of Tiberium lore, six sub-factions, and game changing epic units to the C&C universe.
Gamers who purchase Kane's Wrath or the Command & Conquer 3 Limited Collection will receive a key to this summer's beta for Red Alert 3.

Major League Baseball 2K8 Issues
2K Sports dropped us a quite note this afternoon to let us know that they were working to address some of the recent issues with MLB 2K8. They are currently testing downloadable updates for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners. The Xbox 360 update will increase the frames per second to help improve the overall gameplay experience. Another update for both 360 and PS3 will correct the issue in Franchise mode while playing as the San Diego Padres while attempting to move players to and from the minor league roster.
The Wii and PS2 versions of the games also have some gameplay issues. 2K is working on an alternate method for updating these versions of the game.
No updates were mentioned for the PSP version of the game.

Sierra Online Announces Lost Cities for XBLA
Sierra Online has announced that it will be bringing the award-winning card Game, Lost Cities, to Xbox LIVE Arcade this spring. The title will be priced at 800 MS Points.
In Lost Cities, players will draw draw cards from a pool and will attempt to amass the most points as well as make prosperous expeditions through various lost cities like the Himalayas, the Brazilian rain forest, the desert sands, ancient volcanoes, and the depths of the Oceans. Rock Band Announced For Nintendo Wii; Shipping June 22, 2008
Harmonix and EA have announced today that the award winning music video game, Rock Band, would be released for the Nintendo Wii on June 22, 2008 for a price of $169.99.

FlatOut Head On Demo Races To the Playstation Store

NPD Analysis - February 2008
The February NPD numbers have been released, so as usual every gaming website is talking about just what they actually mean. I would like to thank Snackbar Games for giving me the opportunity to write my analysis for them.
First, it’s worth considering what these numbers actually represent. NPD uses a retail calendar instead of the traditional one, which means that the “month” of February is actually the four-week period that began on Sunday, February 3rd and ended Saturday, March 1st. Also, since four of the twelve months are five weeks instead of four, it’s useful to look at weekly averages and not just total sales. This makes it easier to compare months without being misled by the differing lengths.
