No, not that M. That other one over there.
Oh, those homicidal annelids.
Surprisingly, there are no cabs in this game.
Short and sweet... the perfect summer snack!
Is Gearbox bringing DNF back from the dead? Also: Mass Effect on PS3?
Finding art, music and everything else.
With Harmonix's encore performance with the popular Guitar Hero franchise nearly upon us, Activision has been slowly leaking out a few songs each day or so that will make an appearance on the upcoming rhythm action game.
While it's probably hard to appreciate on your end, it's been painful not to just tell you all what songs will be on the game, as we've been playing the title for a few weeks now. However, given that the lions' share of the songs have been released, we figured we'd break down the game's set lists based on what has been officially announced so far.

obsoleteshock wrote:It's kind of the working assumption that they took out I Want Candy to make room for some other, hopefully better song. Given that you were able to play all 30 tracks in the game, which one would you have taken out (not counting the bonus song)? If it is one of the unannounced tracks, just say so. I'm just curious if it seems like they took it out because it wasn't fun to play, or if they were truly able to find something better at the last minute.

I would have taken out all 3 of the tracks you don't yet know, as I think they are all pretty meh.

I really probably should not. I don't want to damage our relationship with those involved with the game. Plus, it will allo be yesterday's news in a matter of weeks.
.Riff wrote:Wow, you're deliberately spiting me by holding off on Hold on Loosely arent you?Anyway, on the official forums someone quoted an article with Bret Michaels of Poison. Apparently Bret said GH80s will also have Talk Dirty to Me. Can you confirm or deny this? I find it difficult to believe they would put two songs by the same artist in the game and I'll be rather disappointed if its true.

I don't think that's the real note chart. If it's the same thing I saw in my preview build, it had no star power and cut off 3/4 of the way into the song. It looked like placeholder stuff.
orangeson58 wrote:What's up with Red Octane screwing up the names to songs? First they screw up "You've Got Another Thing Comin'" and now they've messed up "Nothin' But a Good Time." It's not "AIN'T Nothin' But a Good Time"!
obsoleteshock wrote:Hey eyetoy, have you received a review/final copy of GH 80's yet? Typically, how far ahead of the release does that happen, or do you pretty much get it when all of us do? I'm just curious if they managed to sneak in a few surprises between the preview version and the final one.
obsoleteshock wrote:Sweet. There aren't any reviews up anywhere else yet, so you might be able to beat everyone to the punch if that one moves to the top of your listI'm still betting that they sneaked in a new bonus song unlockable upon completion of the game and added another level of polish.
