Nintendo’s updates to the Wii Shop Channel this week include a single WiiWare title and 3 new Virtual Console titles. This week’s WiiWare title is by Hudson Entertainment and is titled Onslaught. Onslaught is a futuristic FPS that has you playing the role of a soldier on the Elite Interstellar Strike Force. Onslaught is priced at 1000 Wii Points and is carrying a T rating for the violence and blood.

Activision sent over a new batch of screens for X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Wolverine is set to be released on all current platforms and will be released on May 1, 2009. Hit the jump for the screens. READ MORE

Atari sent over some new screens for the Wii and DS versions of Ghostbusters. Ghostbusters is being developer by the folks at Terminal Reality and being published by Atari. The game is currently slated for release on June 16, 2009.

Harmonix and MTV announced this morning that the next DLC to drop for Rock Band 2 would be in the form of a 5 track Alternative Country Pack and a trio of songs from Jimmy Eat World. The “Alt Country 01” Pack will feature songs from Neko Case, Steve Earle, Lucinda Williams, Drive-By Truckers, and Old 97’s.
