Knights of the Nine will be a new playable faction automatically in the PS3 version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Fear not, as developer Bethesda has thought of the PC and Xbox 360 owners as well. The expansion will be avaliable for purchase for $20 for the PC, and 800 Microsoft Points on the 360.
After pulling in a record amount of profit ($784 million), EA is up to brining us even more games than ever. The Sims 3 is under development, as is a version of the Sims for the PS3 and Wii. A new Sim City is also being developed, as is a next generation Black. The series Road Rash is being revived and adaptations of the new Harry Potter and The Simpsons movies are also slated for a release.
Are you too lazy, too weak, or just simply don’t have time to play through the whole game? EA has the answer to those problems. EA is offering a $50 “deal” where those that don’t feel like playing through the game, can just simply unlock everything in the game, after paying $50 that is.
I’m not too sure if it’s worth it. The game will end up costing you $110 and that might not be worth it for a Need for Speed game. Those that like Need for Speed will play through the game anyways. I wonder how many people will be sucked into this type of microtransaction.
Editor’s Note: Or would this be a macro-transaction?
A follow up to one of the most popular games on the Xbox 360 (and some of the worst for the Xbox and PS2) has been announced. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is coming in the first half of next year. Rumored consoles will be the PS3, PSP, and the Xbox 360. No more news, hopefully some images will surface soon.
