Blizzard sent word today that the first expansion to the still insanely popular Worlds of Warcraft, Burning Crusade, would be available in the US and Europe on Jan 16th. With 7.5 million subscribers, WoW is the dominant force in the MMO genre. No word was given on the pricing for this expansion, but a special collector’s edition has also been announced with goodies like a soundtrack and a coffee table art book.
