Glenn Entis, Sr. VP of Electronic Arts, stated in an interview that there are no plans to change EA’s current strategy. EA owns numerous licenses ranging from movies to sports, and they plan on working on/with these even more. These titles have been extremely successful, and EA maintains good relationships with the numerous license holders. According to Entis, there will be a lot more new, innovative franchises and games, and that EA is willing to take risks to allow gamers to experience even more new and unique games. We shall wait and see.
