So I bailed out on Friday early with a nasty bug that kept me out most of the day, but I did finally jump on the Gears of War bandwagon and boy am I impressed. I don’t typically buy into the hype surrounding games, after all, it’s my job to create that hype right? At any rate, if you are on the fence about GoW, allow me to sway you buy saying that this is probably one of the most intense and awesome games that I have played in years.
Having a 2 yr old running around the house meant my game sessions only happened when the sandman visited, but I enjoyed every minute of it. I almost never say this, but I think Gears of War is my vote for Game of the Year.
