Hudson Entertainment announced today that they would be bringing Star Soldier R out as a WiiWare title for the Nintendo Wii.
Star Soldier R is a tourney style space shooter that features 2-Minute and 5-Minute modes where gamers race to achieve the highest score possible. Gamers can also test their trigger fingers in Quick Shot Mode. Once done, you’ll be able to head on over to the online leaderboards and see how you match up to other gamers in your region.
Star Soldier R is a vertical scrolling shooter that features a top down view and features a configurable control scheme to fit gamers’ personal preferences. No word on a release date for Star Soldier R. READ MORE

Nintendo sent word this morning that the Mario Kart Wii Driving School Tour would be headed to Houston’s International Festival on April 26th and 27th.

Gamecock Media Group announced today that the release of the upcoming Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball game has been pushed back until later this Spring. The team at Blazing Lizard decided to go back in and add more traditional rules dodgeball modes.
In traditional Gamecock fashion, the delay is being blamed on “pirated copies”.
“We see the irony in all this,” noted Christopher Stockman, Studio Director at Blazing Lizard. “Rest assured, we have a crack team of Ninjas on the case and hunting down all pirates. On the positive side it gives us a chance to go back and add in additional content to the game.” READ MORE
