*gasp*

October 21, 2004

I have been reading up on the new GTA, and I am actually pretty excited. I have bashed the hell out of Rockstar in the past, I felt their games were shallow and after shock value and mischief game play their games were pretty dull.

Though now I hear you can break into houses and rob them, not to mention character customization depending on how you *gasp* play the character. Reminds me of Morrowind and when I get that vibe, no matter the setting, well I get a cute funny feeling inside. So Ill check it out, I think Rockstar has had time to see what works and what doesn’t, I don’t want fed ex quests, and I want a deeper storyline, and side stories, point being yeah, I am excited about the new game.

Halo 2. Did we all play Halo 1? It was good, a good good game, but my goodness, its not like the second coming in video game form. This is on pace to be the best selling game ever, and its still Halo. Maybe I am just missing the point.

Some one give me a good friggin ninja game!

Snackbar…Paintball?

October 15, 2004

So one week later and several hundred bucks down Dodad, Draconian, Sniperseye, Ryno, Yours Trully, and a few others now have paintball guns and all the cool toys. Last weekend we spent in the thick of things at a ranch and at a great paintball field here in San Antonio. How does this relate to gaming? Well I am about to tell you. We started running Rainbow Six (the PC game not that horrific Xbox version) mission types, or have some more in mind for the future. Good inspiration for the weekend warrior.

If you are interested in coming out with us shoot me an email.

We may have gotten ourselves in over our heads a bit here. We had no idea in any way shape or form that we would get a great response like this. The entries were amazing, I mean as a roleplayer myself, I was very impressed with some of you. Some will stay with me forever like the Cockmaster (thanks Wampa!) but I would love to clear some time to RP with some of the characters that were created during the contest. Now it was tough because not many of you gave your characters a balance, they were either unstoppable or just gods in themselves, which is cool, but I was looking for that extra depth.

Mad props to all entered but the winner is the Hero Blake, though I do not know what the forum name is, but we have your email addy and we will send you a congrats and get your info down so you can get the prize. I will also send in the bio to Royce Stewart so he can get going on that illustration. Congrats man!

Mad mad props also to Numos of our forums, who came in a very very close second
