Console launches are an exciting time especially when they encompass this much of a shift in technology. Friday is the ship date for the PS3 and Sunday is the date for the Wii. All 3 major manufacturers took vastly different approaches to their new consoles and quite frankly I think they all serve different portions of the same market. I never want to see one dominant console with 100% market share.
With that said, we are on the eve of some great new hardware and I can’t wait. Set your fanboy/fangirl/fanperson thoughts aside and tell me what games you are really looking forward to. I don’t want to know what you think is overpriced or overrated, I want to know what you think is going to live up to the hype.
I am ready to check out Twilight Princess for sure, but I really want to see how the new NHL2k7 game looks and plays on the PS3 as well as the new Sonic. I am getting giddy just thinking about this. Is there going to be enough time for all these new games and new systems? Damn I hope so.
