Publisher JoWoooD announced that it has signed a gothic horror fan project called Anderson & the Legacy of Cthulhu, based on the “Arkham Cycle” and the Cthulhu Stories by H. P. Lovecraft. Anderson & the Legacy of Cthulhu is being penned by “literature experts Pen&Paper gamemasters,’ and is expected to launch in the second quarter of this year.
The game, which can be seen in motion in this initial trailer, incorporates ideas that have emerged from within the fan community, as well as cutscenes from award-winning director Gerhard Daurer(Game of Life) and in-game art exclusively created by acclaimed fantasy artist Peter Siedl (Project: Strom). For a game that looks the part of a Half-Life mod, this might be interesting.
