Oblivion Goes Game Of The Year

July 9, 2007

Oblivion, that little niche title from Bethesda, looks to be getting the Game of the Year treatment this year. Bethesda announced this morning that they would be releasing a Game of the Year Edition of the popular RPG for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC this September.

The GotY edition is slated to include the original version of Oblivion along with the Shivering Isles expansion and the Knights of the Nine content.

If you skipped over Oblivion when it was released, then this is probably your best chance to grab all the available content in one place. Bethesda hasn’t released any pricing info on this version of the game, but I would expect to see it priced slightly lower than the average full price of games on each respective platform.
