Retro is back, no matter how you define it.  There are new games made to look retro, retro games made to look new, new games you’re supposed to think are retro, games that look new but feel retro, games that are supposed to be sequels to retro games that didn’t exist, and even new games that are supposed to be the aforementioned nonexistent retro games, thereby nullifying the premise of that last category.
