NIS America sent word that Prinny: Can I Really Be the Hero? was shipped to retailers nationwide on its scheduled ship date of February 17th. Prinny is coming in a premium box that also includes a bonus soundtrack and an exclusive comic done by the fine folks at Penny Arcade.

Indie developer Paleo Entertainment announced this evening that their debut title, Merchants of Brooklyn, is slated to be released on Steam this Spring. M.O.B. aims to break the mold for first person shooters through frenetic combat and a unique vertical world.
M.O.B. is set in a dystopian New York environment where cloned Neanderthals roam the streets and assist the wealthy citizens on the upper stories of sky high vertical settlements. The first installment of M.O.B. is currently dated for March 17, 2009. READ MORE
Mastiff has teamed up with the folks at Shimano and announced Shimano Xtreme Fishing. Shimano Xtreme Fishing allows gamers to fish using a trio of different methods including bowfishing, spearfishing, and the more traditional rod and reel. READ MORE
Nintendo announced a pair of titles for the Wii Shop Channel today. This week’s releases include a WiiWare title, Evasive Space, as well as a Virtual Console title for the NES, Life Force.
Evasive Space is an original title that has you take on the role of Konki the Stellar Guardian in an effort to thwart a band of space theives that are stealing the Constellation Stones and causing the universe to go dark. Life Force is a spin-off of the epic Gradius series that originally saw it’s release for the NES back in 1988.
Evasive Space will cost you 1000 Wii Points while Life Force is priced at only 500 points. Both titles are available now on the Wii Shop Channel.

2008 has been a great year for us here at Snackbar Games. We’ve added a ton of new faces to our staff. These new faces have allowed us to produce more content than we ever have before.
I want to take a second to publicly thank everyone on our staff for all of their hardwork this year and to thank you, the readers, for continuing to visit this site. Without the readers, there would be no reason for this site and without the staff, there would be no site.
Jan 1, 2009 marks the beginning of our 7th year online and I have a feeling it’s going to surpass all previous years. We have a lot of great stuff planned for the year and we look forward to growing with you at our side.
